Dr Ravi Jayalath
MBBS, FRACGP, SCHP, Paediatrics
Dr Jayalath is an experienced General Practitioner with more than 20 years’ clinical practice and has served the Northern Beaches community for the past seven years.
His special interests include respiratory medicine, dermatology and skin cancer surgery, paediatrics, adolescent health, and travel medicine, including Yellow Fever vaccination.
Dr Jayalath worked in the Burns and Plastic Surgery Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital as a Surgical Fellow for seven years. He has extensive surgical experience and is highly skilled in performing complex skin cancer surgeries, including procedures in specialised areas such as the face and ears. He also has strong expertise in burns care and scar management.
He completed a Diploma in Paediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and has significant experience in managing paediatric patients.
Dr Jayalath graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and completed his postgraduate training in Sydney. He worked in rural Australia for four years and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017.
Outside of work, Dr Jayalath enjoys motorbike riding and travelling with his family and their dog.
